I am a photographer that is excited to show other people my photography. When I found QBN I thought it would be a great opportunity to share my work with others and for others to share their work with me. I am not familiar with this scene so I did not realize that posting to much of my work in a short period of time could be construed as "spamming." I can understand now the reason why other members of this site would crucify people that would continuously and redundantly post their work for the sole purpose of self promotion. As a new comer to QBN I would like to spread the word to all other new comers that are anxious to share there work with the world.......There is a right way and a wrong way to put your shit out there on QBN, so be careful if you find value here.

Yes, you first need to troll, THEN spam. Never the other way around. ANd that first part takes a few weeks..then when everyone can't stand you, you post up some stellar bit of work and *bam* you are welcomed to this demented community and you get your official "can hit on Jaline" status.

QBN is a jungle man. Its hard. Very hard.
Its a very complicated game of manipulations, you need to analyse every movements of every species and build charts and diagrams to understand the very deep fundments of the Beast.Welcome on board. Iam joking, we're just a bunch of clowns.
have fun : )

By the way, -1 on "new comers". I believe that the word you were looking for is "newcomers". See, no space there. But you're a photographer, so I'll let it slide...this time...

Hi, I'm relatively new to posting here myself.

I think the quality exchange with the good people here help make the trolling bearable

the trick is like you said "share your work with others" not "force your work into others".
For that I recommend posting only on the Public Voice, and try to engage people into participating, ask for opinions, constructive critiques and don't be afraid to ask for help to achieve something you are not sure about.
No one really reads the other 2 columns so, chances are you will post more than once there and not a single person will see or share comments.
Welcome to QBN!

i joined today and have already encountered my fair share of insults, but all is fair in love and war. And if you keep it up, I'm going to steal your clients.
