to be used for a logo for an engineering company specialising in CNC parts production.
already thought of Gotham, Futura, Avenir, Avant Garde... any others?
Just updating the old logotype and repositioning the company to expand into larger businesses. They are very modern and up to date with automated processes etc.

None of these O's mentioned above are perfect circles. If you want a perfect circle, you've gotta draw one, Jim.

to the viewer they are circle O's maybe I shouldn't have used the word Perfect.

So what I need is a font with an optically circular O
:D

Well, then Gotham or Avenir should do the trick. Futura lacks personality imo. And make sure to tweak at least some of the letters, especially if it's a wordmark.

Just as an aside, what’s with all of these movies using red Futura Extra Bold in their promo?

you wouldn't really want a typeface to have an optically circular o, no?

Yeah, that's why I asked m_r.....
It is a concept I have in mind due to the nature of the business
