1. Eating a healthy diet — defined as limiting refined grains, processed meats, and red meat while consuming lots of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and fish — decreased the risk of depression by 6%.
2. Drinking no more than one alcoholic drink per day for women and two for men reduced the risk by 11%.
3. Spending fewer than four hours per day outside of work watching TV or using a computer lowered the risk of depression by 13%.
4. Engaging in at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week was linked to a 14% reduction in risk.
5. Staying socially connected with friends and family reduced the risk of depression by 18%.
6. Never smoking was associated with a 20% decline in risk.
7. Sleeping seven to nine hours each night on average lowered the risk of depression by 22%.The researchers found that individuals who followed at least five of these wholesome habits enjoyed a remarkable 57% decline in depression risk compared to individuals who followed one or none.

chat-gpt just made me this plugin to temporarily get round the final boss youtube adblock until i find a better solution
it's very simple, just loads the video embed in an iframe (like it would be embedded on QBN) but does it within the youtube site
worked out a few bugs but i imagine there will be plenty more (vids with embedding disabled etc.) but does the job for me
- *chrome extensionkingsteven
- I get a 404bulletfactory
- Oh weird, Im guessing that's due to the anon repo I set upkingsteven
- https://file.io/eXTs…kingsteven
- this version is v buggy on anything but vanilla YT urls. did some small updates on my version last night...kingsteven
- I've also been through the YT/Google/App Store terms and don't think this is against ToS so I may try and publish and seekingsteven
- IDK if they plan to roll out ad block block on the embedded player... Id say that would piss off a lot of creators, but this is a v obvious workaround...kingsteven
- Thanks King. I've downloaded it. Umm what do I do with the .js files in the folder? I went to look at your page again for instructions but its gone.HAYZ1LLLA
- https://www.dropbox.…
newer versionkingsteven - just open manage extensions, enable, developer mode and click "load unpacked" and select the folder (wherever you want to put it)kingsteven
- its still working well, i changed it to position the player absolute above the existing youtube player which works more reliably but occasionally when youtubekingsteven
- decides not to block me it plays the video behind. so just remember how to switch it on and off!kingsteven
- i should really figure out a better way to check if the video has been loadedkingsteven
- Thanks for the clarity. All installed okay but as you say, doesn't work on any of the videos I've watched yet as they all have ads during, not at the start.HAYZ1LLLA
- yeah, they seem to have made the change to only block pre-roll recently. i was really hoping the ad blockers would have sorted it out by now.kingsteven
- twitch has had a war against blockers for years now, there's not a month goes by where they don't adjust their code to break the ad blockers...kingsteven
- i guess YT will employ a similar technique (make it such a pain in the ass to block that you just take the ads)kingsteven
- Yea or buy YT Premium.HAYZ1LLLA
- haha, never. i'm finding it just works to turn the blocker off and on now which is fine without the plugin.kingsteven

If you like a big wacom, and you also using keyboard shortcuts, the ergonomics kind of suck. You end up twisted and reaching with one arm to control your keyboard, and it's hard to work all day like that. My neck and shoulders were always giving me problems from drawing in that posture.
A Cintiq is an (expensive) option, but you are always a bit too close (IMO), your arm/hand obscures part of your work, and keyboard placement is still an issue. For me, I could never feel as fast and fluid drawing on a screen and tapping on tools with my pen. A better position is having the wacom just below your monitor and tilted at an angle like a drafting board. To achieve that, get yourself one of these "Innovative 7000" heavy duty monitor arms and clip it to the side/front of your desk. This one is nice because it will place the pivot right at desk height, so your wacom is perfectly positioned below your monitor, and not too high.
Screw a piece of plywood to the vesa plate of the monitor arm (sized a little larger than your wacom), then get some adhesive backed velcro to stick the wacom to the plywood. For the keyboard, a small wireless keyboard like you use for a media-server can be stuck up in the top-corner with velcro, and possibly a foam or wood block to get the level right. It's good to have the keyboard sit over the bezel a bit in order to keep the reach low.
I've been using this setup for about 3 years now and it's been a total game changer. No more stress in my neck and shoulders, and I can very easily rotate the wacom into position when i want to use the pen, or away immediately when I'm done with it, and I never need to move stuff off my desk to do it.

Seriously, this seems sellable.Nairn - Etsy shop incoming.monNom
- How can you work so close to your monitors?!grafician
- You can adjust depth (and tilt) with this. Wacom is usually 8-10" forward from monitor and I have monitors at arms length with fingers outstretched.monNom
- There's a keyboard tray on this desk to that might be throwing you off.monNom
- just use an iPad while sat on the sofa.shapesalad
- Nice man. Like a DIY 24" Cintiq stand. I've been tinkering with the idea of cutting out my desk front for something similar.fyoucher1
