stop being a pussy and man up. You lived with her 3.5 years, you were practically married anyways so there weren't gonna be any more surprises.

Ive been there. 2.5 and lived together.
she wanted a next step.I just couldn't do it. Dont get me wrong we had a great relationship and til this day she is the best girl/match I have met.
But I don't regret braking it off... actually I feel better about it with each passing day.
I remember how I felt when I was with her; like I said we had an awesome relationship. But at night I started having trouble sleeping, this feeling of me getting married and basically changing my life to that level bothered me very much. Which was a surprise to me because I always thought getting married was a thing I wanted to do.
Couple months later I found myself living with my buddies having the time of our lives, I was doing what I wanted with out having to worry about another person. I traveled to different places in the world, got better work, hooked up with hot chicks, etc, etc.
I'm not saying life is perfect, but I feel much better about my life than before.
everyone is different, it all depends what you want out of life.
I will say this, it was a very painful experience.
you just gotta ride it out.Trust me things get better.
good luck.
- that's whats up. living your life without worrying about another person IS THE SHIT.sublocked

start itemizing your junk. ownership is 3/4 possession of the law
I know this is just a "break up" but for divorced fellows out there who already who this; getting your assets in your control is a major part of the fighting.

Interesting you should bring up the "not sure" thing.
Like someone mentioned before, after 2.5 or 4 years... there's not much else to see, you should know if you wanna buy the farm by then. When you have to seriously ask yourself "is this the one? Do I want to marry this person?" I think you have just answered your own question. most likely no.
Like you said; now you're having the time of your life. :)
Congrats, heres to enjoy the only life we get.
Cheers!

Yeah I was 9 years down the line when it happened to me. Took a few rough months of drinking and e-whoring to get over it but it all works out in the end.
