It is shameful how bad some design company websites are.
Usually its a case of being too busy to work on your own stuff.
But really, theres no excuse for image navigation instead of text or an all flash website - completely inaccessible.
You can still make really accessible but cool html websites.
Can still use fullscreen flash images as backgrounds.
Use flash image replacement to use companies corporate fonts but info remains accessible.
You can use javascript stuff like Moo Tools - the yahoo tools are well worth checking out too - they kick Moo Tools ass.- flash as backgrounds - tell me more?trooperbill

i wouldnt follow any of them tho pentagram is a kewl as it doesnt matter what you do they wont like it (from experience)
probably better to understand the goals before you design and use these as justification for your design choices.

I have been tasked with redesigning (HTML) and rebuilding a design agency website. Now I have a wealth of resources and I know a lot of sites out there. My list so far is:
http://www.duffy.com/
http://www.gendall.co.uk/
http://graphicmaterial.com/
http://www.thechase.co.uk/
http://www.icodesign.co.uk/
http://www.pod1.com/
http://www.deep.co.uk/
http://www.rgbstudio.co.uk
http://www.non-format.com/
http://www.madebysawdust.co.uk/Various aspects of these sites ring true with what I want to acheive and provide me with ideas. But what I am now looking for is websites that have a bit of character and give across a bit of personality. Can you think of any that stick out
One i can think of is http://www.togetherdesign.co.uk/…
Any others
So I am not looking for any agency sites
