Anyone here use two big 30" screens for work? If so, how have you found working with them and at what resolution?

I've a single 30" now but had my 23" hooked up as well for a while. Way more immersive. It's the difference between working in a little notebook on your lap with all your crayons in a little box and then working at a draughting table with all your tools spread out.
- Wow... and I'm stuck on a 20"kalkal
- Did it increase productivity?MakeBelieve
- I'd say yes, it did. Photoshop is beautiful, InDesign layouts are way bigger, DW & Flash both have more menu-room.pylon

I have a pair of 24s running at 1920x1200. The experience is worth it.
My biggest issue is that I can't get an application's menu bars/tools/palettes (CS3) to move to the non-primary display. So frustrating!
- help?
monospaced - Buy cs4kalkal
- You have to undock them. In PS it's workspace > legacy, IIRC.pylon

I've been running 2 22"s for a while.
It definantly increases productivity - and it allows you to multitask much easier.monospaced - if your on windows you need ultramon - this program makes it all - http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultr…

I had an Apple 30" at my last job for web design. It was rediculously too big. I even got neck-ache the first day. On 24" now, much better.
- I found 30" to big as well... returned it and got 23"ribit

2 x 24" CRTs @ 3200 x 1200 and a 1080p projector, and MAAAAN my productivity is through the roof dawg! Now all I need is a mac. But seriously 3200 x 1200 should be good maybe one step up.

I'm rockin' 2 20" Cinema Displays at work and a 27" inch with my 17" Macbook Pro at home. Prefer the home setup, but both are good.
