I'm a self employed freelancer and just coming off the quietest summer I've ever known but all of a sudden the last month I've been swamped to the point of turning down work.
Couple of friends who run small companies (2-3 people) have experienced the same rush lately.
Hopefully the economy, or at least confidence, is finally picking up a bit combined with the rush to get stuff done for christmas.

Hopefully soon becoming the official agency of record for my largest client. We've been talking about it, they like the number I put on the table, it's just not been put into writing yet.
If I double my workflow in the next year, which isn't entirely out of the question, I'll have no choice but to find a dedicated freelancer, or a junior with a year or two post-college under their belt.
Got a couple leads working right now that could make the difference between breaking even and making 30% more profit in my first year of business.
- ...But I hear breaking even at any rate is good for year one.gramme
