Ok, I know this maybe a really simple question to you but I am getting all confused here.
I am going to give PHP/MySQL and Expression Engine a go (locally) this afternoon as I have a spare few hours an a new book...
I am currently downloading MAMP to Install... The question I have is: Can someone simpley explain to me how many passwords a Mac has?
I know it sounds stupid but am I right in saying there is a root password, a MySQL password, a user password and a super user password?
If so, how do I know what passwords are set (i.e I know I have a user password as the machine asks me to log on every morning)
Thanks

If you are using Mamp you only need to use your admin password... the default passes for all the other system settings will show in the config page
