Ok, it been a long day, thats my excuse anyway....
On the train back from work, I had something in my head for a logo, this thing came to me in its complete form, problem is, I'm having problems creating it in illustrator.
Usually I have no problems in illustrator, however, this thing is hard for me to nail. I know this is a long shot, but I'm gonna explain my idea in the hope that someone will help me.
The idea is simple, I want to circle shaped ribbons interwinding with each other.... thats it, can't get seem to execute it, I'm not exactly a newbie in illy, which is why it is pissing me off. I have some close attempts, by taking a circle, then adding the inflate Effect in order to add some randomness to it.
Anyone help me out, again, know its a long shot.

maybe if you sketch it and upload a scan that might help peeps here to help.

you need 2 men to do that...

close illustrator, sketch it out with a pencil and paper
then come back to it

do you have a sketch of what you mean? It's a bit unclear. Do you want the outline of a circle where the outline is made of interwinding ribbons?

will try and sketch it.

ok, I think the problem is that I need to get some depth in the ribbon, almost, like this ribbon:

but then I need to interwine the ribbon with a second ribbon and the circle itself.
