I'm looking for some recos on best practices for font organization. Over the last few years I've acquired a large amount of fonts and it's getting to the point where browsing through them is a huge pain...
I searched around and only found one recommendation and it goes like so:
• Favourites
• Simple
• Obscure
• Hand writing
• Fancy
• Dingbats
• ComputerIt's not bad I guess but still seems fairly vague. There has to be a better way... Suggestions?

I only organize them by Type foundries.
I sorta know what I have and where to go for what I am looking for.
- That's what I have now. Just was hoping to go even more detailed with the orging,,, : $theyCallMeMista

My advice, seriously, pick 5 that you know you can’t do without and delete half of the rest. I have way too many, so much so that I never get beyond “C” in my alphabetised folder. I know there others that I would like, but if I can’t remember them by name I don’t care anymore.
- im the same - i just havn't deleted them yet!forcetwelve
- lol I've tried the 5... so hard with so many quality fonts out there though..theyCallMeMista
