"Many Austic people do not have jobs or structure to within their lives."
Sort your spelling out, it's embarrassing, especially when you can't spell the one word upon which your project is based.
- Surely the avant garde attitude to spelling and grammar is part of Rybo's personal brand ID?Wolfboy
- Wolfboy0
how many separate threads does this need Rybo?
Anyway, thought you might like to adjust the site, the first story of the scrolling news at the top still talks about a 29th October deadline for artwork - confusing considering it's miles bigger and far more prominent than the actual deadline information.

News - Launch to Be in London
Hahahaha this book requires a launch or you do?! what little I have got to know about you, is that you seem to have a strange perspective of what a designer/creative should be!!!- If you want everyone to love you for your creative mind, you should have gone into fashion!!uncle_helv
- rybo0
guess you wont be getting a invite for free booze and networking.
- I will have to live with that!!
When will the book be available?uncle_helv

Is this whole thing actually a college project then?
- rybo0
Nope, its a project i personally am doing, iv been negelecting my college work to get this done.

Rybo, cut the spin. Don't describe it as a London Launch if its actually just going to be available to buy as part of your college graduation show. This is where you piss people off and lose your support. Its deceitful.
- rybo0
Horp thats where i am lauching it, i have just reveled the details it isn't deceiful at all. if anyone is trying to spin things it you by saying that,

Rybo, I have a genuine question for you. Please don't read this as a narky cynical question, or one designed to undermine what you're doing. It is none of those things, it is a genuine question.
If the launch for this thing isn't going to be until June next year, why have you got a deadline of November end this year?
My reason for asking is that if you extended your artwork deadline until enf of January, you'd get all those creatives in the new year lull all really eager to do soemthing to get the year going, so you'd find artwork was more easily forthcoming. That would still give you five months to lay out, prep for artwork, and print... a job that could actually be done in a week, so you'd still have plenty of time.
- totally agree
had i had more time then might have considered doing it cos always say i want to do more print every yearWeLoveNoise - more print as a NY resolutionWeLoveNoise
- totally agree
- rybo0
Is that what you surgest i do? extend the deadline to January would that encourage more people from here to take part?
Do designer tend to do work like this at the start of the year?
- Horp0
I can't speak for everyone obviously but January is traditionally a quiet spot in the calender. Personally my January's for the last two years have been packed, but before that I sometimes didn't see any work until mid-march.
If you consider the current economic climate I think its safe to assume that January will be very quiet for more people. Post Christmas blues coupled with the uncertainty about the market will make for a very negative feeling in the new year. If people are sat around twiddling their thumbs it will really get to them.
If you get them to do something for this, a lot of people would throw themselves into it and do really great pieces of work becuase it will feel like a chance to get out there and show their best stuff.
If I was you though, I wouldn't go and add more confusion to anything now by siuddenly deciding on 'yet another deadline extension' because it gives the impression that you aren't getting any artwork and are failing.
Stick to your November deadline. Chase up what you can and get all the work in over December. Work out your layouts and be working on any other design elements required.
Then, when January comes around, do a new, fresh, energised call for entires for 'phase 2' of the project.
That would be my advice. Sorry for the long post.
- Horp0
Rybo, I've just replied to your email. Its frank and honest and very very long, but read it with an open mind and try to hold on to the idea that I might actually be trying to help!
Also, if you did do a Phase2 in January I would like to try and contribute a piece if I may, subject to workload.
- NotByHand0
Great advice Spooky.
I'd be a lot more likely to make something for "phase 2" as well.

Horp good on you for still going.
Most of the rest of us stopped giving helpful advice in broadcast #2 lol
