So my bike was stolen last night and I'm in the market for something new. My old bike was a Cannondale F500 (bought it way back in '96). I use it to ride to work/metro, the occasional pleasure ride, and of course, mountain biking.
Any suggestions on what to get next?

I went off-road in one of those electric bikes. Fucking awesome.
I ended up flying in to a massive bush.

I'm riding a Trek EX9 and it's a sweet sweet ride. I highly recommend it... I had a Norco Fireball before that (2002 hardtail, upgraded pretty much all the components) and this one's a better geometry.

ok, i'm a teeny bit slow and i still don't get the "batesoled" thing.
i've read the thread and i seem to be missing something...
- is this like rickrolling?7point34
- it originated in the "work stolen" threadkingsteven
- Don't be a total fouty when it comes to understanding batesoled ;)tymeframe

Original Idea:
Brad Batesole stole work and presented it as his own.
Therefore If your bike was stolen it's been Batesoled.BUT he said being the creative director he contracted a designer to do the work, and then presented it on the homepage of his companies site to show the diversity of the work they can do.
Granted, i still think the work was batesoled.
