Mods were sharp suits, well dressed, simple colours and 'classic' styles. Completely the opposite of the grungier, rougher rockers.
Look for bold patterns in wallpapers, and styles like Ben Sherman clothing. Vespas or Lambrettas.

Bands included the new wave of bands in Britain in the 60's such as the who, the small faces, the beatles (early stuff) but also Northern Soul music that was coming out of Detroit (motown). I'll see what I can dig up for you.
