350Z, no question
If you are considering buying a new one, don't. Get a used BMW M3. You can find some great ones in that price range and you'll be getting a $60,000 car for $35,000.
Buying new is throwing money away.
*If not, get the 350Z. Fun car, but the interior's quality is not anywhere near the luxury brands.
- People often say you buy someone elses problems when you get a used car...just something to think about.AC02

Why not just go for the Golf Gti? R32 is bonkers expensive for what it is. RX8 is good, but lets face it, it's a bit of a dads car. 350z is a nice looking car, my neighbor has one, but quite old now?
- R32 is expensive because of the interior, AWD, amazing V6 engine, along with an amazing transmission that shifts obscenely fast.AC02

the 350z to me looks like, someone has taken an engine and thrown handfulls of shite at it and the shit that stuck formed the bodywork. It is vugly.

For the Money 350Z, very good handling car and most importantly RWD. But the R32 is a good car, and that V6 engine sounds so good. Also the interior of the R32 is very nice place to be.

Depends what kind of driving you want to do and where you do it. I vote R32, but that is me being a fan of AWD cars (wrx wagon here). The R32 is not blazing fast though, but the interior is top notch and there is nothing like AWD in a turn. If you live in an area that sees a lot of rain the R32 would be a lot of fun. It's fun being able to rail turns in bad weather and having the confidence of AWD. 350Z is a great RWD car, but i see them everywhere around here, and i've never been a fan of the car in general. RX8 i personally wouldn't waste my time considering it.
R32 engine sounds amazing too.

Used to own a R32 and loved it. It also has a strong aftermarket community. VW's reliability has been down as of late although I had no problems with mine.
- 4 wheel drive as well.moveinspace
- AWD not 4wd there is a difference ;)AC02

350z easily. The R32 is heavy and relatively slow. The Rx8... don't know, just don't like it. Not a fan of rotary engines.

- aye you could get a wicked rx8 for less than that vvvvvrrrrrooooom :D I am thinking of gettign rid of my fto and getting an rx8 yochossy
- and getting an rx8 or an impretzachossy

RX8, good looking car, VW looks boring

Also consider space. The 350z barely has room in the back for socks. The R32 has way more space.
- R32 is the most practical choice out of the threevwsung18t

350z is the sexiest IMO. R32 would be the most rational choice though.
