Thinking of going to the conference. Whats the difference between the pass types?
Normal vs On-site
Thanks

The web is going to run itself in the future.

Went, had two workshops on monday one with Paul Boag and the other with Dan Mall, pretty good stuff. Tuesday the conference wasnt as good lots rehashing, the crowdsourcing dude was interesting, this dude was creepy, left before the last two speakers spoke...Celebrated the Big O's victory in the Lower East side, heading back home for some warmth tomorrow.
Anyone else went?
BTW - can you believe a room full of designers and no fucking wi-fi...that sucked.

the future of web design will not have me in it

This made my morning, how horribly shit is that site.
Gotta have been made by the web 2.0 developer crowd who fancy themselves as designers because they followed a few photoshop tutorials

I wont bother this time - the first one in london was pretty good but the last one sucked ass. it was all pretty self congratulatory 'up there' on stage and i accidentally threw a coffee over someone first thing in the morning!.. sorry...

Interesting, SlashPeckham, I've never been but the self congratulatory tone of this kind of thing does really put me off. I'm suprised no one else appears to be that bothered. I feel like there's a lot of "emperor's new clothes" going on as well as talking slots for the same old folks.

I went to the one at kensington, and thought it was pretty informative
