Shares... and percentages

    Hmm... was letting my mind wonder... a percentage decrease in a share is a lot worse that an increase (Yes I know that is obvious) But I mean like the following, an increase of 10% is less than a decrease of 10%, which I never really thought about before...

    e.g going from 100 + 10% = 110 (an increase of 10)

    but going from 110 - 10% = 99 (a decrease of 11)

    Anyway... as you were! Just another of my ponderings!
