I have an Aeron for the past 11 years. I am on my second one. The thing with these that's amazing is that they're warrantied for like 15 years, and now you can get them in custom finishes/colors. My second one actually had a longer warranty than my original (which had a tilt mechanism go out in it), and they have very good customer service.

Has anyone tried the Mirra? Looks about the same as the Aeron, little bit cheaper.

Do a search on this one, I've seen this same thread at least 3 times.
People just about always say the same thing:
-People that are short sighted say the Aeron's too expensive, you can buy a cheaper chair elsewhere.
-The Mirra is just like the Aeron (not at all).
-They complain about what they used to sit in at some crappy job they once worked.
-Then some ass like myself will chime in to support buying an expensive chair

729.99, I've got this bad boy in my home office and it's just as good as the Aeron I have at work.

mirra at home, aeron at work.
both work well. the mirra arm rests move back with the chair back which bugs me a little.

I have the Aeron. I bought after an extensive research. Thought about Mirra, Life, Leap, Think, Chadwick, etc. I think the Aeron chair represents revolution of office chair and established a strong iconic status. It's comfortable and once you adjust it to your preference, it just works well. oh, the posture fit is also a nice addition compare to old lumber support.
