  i wonder if you show keen interest in her experience at this agency and make her feel really good about herself .. if she would return the favor and show more respect for your work.

  probably not, but that's always where my mind goes. show ultimate respect and after there's a show of trust deliver a couple of soft blows to let her know you understand her limit of knowledge in this field and that you'll take it from here.
