  I never seen this soft flash ring box before. Do you think this is custom if not where to find it?

  Often see smaller ones for macro product photography. Never seen one that size but don't do many events...

  don't recognize the make of the flash in that photo

  check this one out. it has an optional softbox and its cheap. i know a couple of people who own this one and swear by it
