has anyone ever seen anything like this
http://img410.imageshack.us/my.p…as you can see the red being displayed appears different in each document, however the red is the same PMS. I've checked and double checked the color settings, color profile, pantone swatch..ect.
They were created on different machines though. Both in Illustrator CS2.
any tips?

Look in the drop down menu in the Swatches palette for the Spot Colors options. These may be set differently within the two files.

No, it's been around for a few versions yet.

if they are both the smae spot color, the end result should be the same when it's printed. I never trust any screen. I keep all my CD Cover designs I hae made and not the pantone/spot colors used and look at the flyer for reference. I have also had the same flyers printed by 2 differrent printers and came out with differences.
