I woke up and now I can't turn my head to the right without it hurting big time. It's like when my grandpa used to turn to see who was behind him in the car when he was driving. Any suggestions on a fix?

At least it's not a crick. Had one of those a few years back and couldn't get out of bed for 3 days. Every time I moved I got a serious muscle spazm across my neck, the back of my head and my shoulders. Sweet, sweet diazepam from Dr Nice did the trick.

can you get a prescription for muscle relaxants from your doc? I've had this happen a couple of times - the nerve would periodically spasm in my neck and it was excruciating. Muscle relaxant worked though plus heating pad. That, and invest in new pillows.
