  you may have a bad install... i use firefox daily at work and at home on 4 separate machines and i have never once seen that screen

  FF is fine on my Mac, but for some reason it keeps freezing on my work computer. I don't think it's necessarily Windows though. My work computer has lower specs.

  Firefox 3 is being a real bitch - the beta release was less shaky than the Alpha I'm running here and I've tried reinstalling, to no avail.

  I have to right-click and save PDFs and MP3s, lest I want the fucking thing to implode. Not happy.
