what do you call that thing that they used on old-timey cameras where the photographer put his head under that cloth when taking the picture so he could see because basically he was looking right through a tiny lense and needed it to be dark?
Get one of those for your own head and your monitor and then you don't have to worry about turning off images.

have as many windows open on the screen at once as you can. email, a folder on your desktop, an image or two in photoshop and itunes, that way when someone walks by you have like a 1 in 3 chance of hysterically clicking around and in under 3 seconds switch screens to something else.
