now that the virtual economy seems to have had it's worst part, the real economy is just rolling into the effects of the crisis.
recession is not a question anymore for anyone, but an absolute certainty.
so what to do? if you have lots of money? (not me, meh..)
you can't put it in a savings account (too risky), keep the money in a box under the bed makes it still seriously vulnerable for inflation and buying stock is just nuts. As too much uncertainty will remain. (despite todays upward spiral..)
What to do?
Buy gold, art, antiques?
What would keep the most value?
(btw oil and foodprices are - good for compensation - the first to go down in a real world economic crisis.. so oil is not to be invested in..)

ha! while all my friends were "investing" in their fancy "stocks" I was out spending that money on beer. Who's laughing now!

canned food, water and firearms.. then hide them all.. cause once the shit hits the fan, the military will come knocking to ensure you dont have them.

Keeping money in a bank is not risky. You're insured up to $100,000 as an individual.
