Anyone else go from the same old websites hour after hour day after day. I seem to rotate in a small cycle of sites which quite frankly is doing my head in its such a time waster.
A few minutes here. a few minutes there - suddenly the day's over and I've just gone round and round.
Anyone know how to get off?

plug off.

I went cold turkey, used to waste most of my day 'keeping up' with stuff. Too much time looking and not creating.
Now I spend all that time here instead. What a waste of time my life is, ffs.

yeah well here was one those places I keep coming back to. If I don't turn on the computer I don't miss it though. But once I'm online I'm all over facebook, twitter, QBN, some other forums, BBC, and then back again - just in case there's an update!!

Like Rockdog says, unplug.
When you start your day - check your email and get out quick. Try not to even open up the internet 'til you need to, then make a point of closing the browser straight after.
On my setup here, I use my laptop for internet access and for most of each day don't even have the desktop physically plugged in (I don't like having wi-fi on too much, in such close proximity), so I can just close the lid on the lappie and shut out that world.
