Ben & Jerry's with human breast milk… 3232 Responses

WTF!?!?!?!
Right, how many gallons of milk would B&J go through in a day to make their ice cream? fuckin loads!
I reckon it would be pretty much impossible to match that with human breast milk without having warehouses full of women lines up in cubicles with suction machines on their tits extracting the milk.
then wouldnt that be degrading to those women?
so the hippies would rather degrade women and have their titsmilked as part of a large scale industrial process than degrading cows.Another point, a woman has to be either pregnant or post pregnancy to make milk. so its only a tiny percentage of women who can produce milk in the world today. whereas EVERY female cow can produce milk dailly.
Hippies definitely need to get a grip, yes it is sensible to do things "green" or politically correct , but keep the suggestions sensible.
Its like them argueing to stop testing on animals.
yes it IS cruel and is probably done on too much of a big scale.
cosmetics companies should definitely be banned from testing on animals fullstop. makeup is NOT an important part of our survival, its only those milkmakin women that like the stuff. so all those animals are suffering for them to look good.
infact: rethink ........ if the women want to wear makeup then they have to go get their tits milked for an hour a day.
would that be a good solution?anyway back to the point, aye makeup/cosmetic companies shouldnt be allowed to test on animals, but i do think it IS a good idea to test medicines / treatments on animals.
what is the alternative?
drugs going to trials on humans, humans dying.
the last time that happened wasnt it a load of folk that had mad side effects, this made the headlines everywhere.

it is funny though how we are weirded out by the idea of human breast milk but we are OK with drinking from another species.
PETA are not being serious and are just making the correlation between pregnancy and cows milk - e.g We continually artificially inseminate cows so they get pregnant and produce milk. We don't allow them to wean properly and we just kill most of the calves that are produced.
I'm not sure which is more fucked up.

To animal rights people:
Humans are always more important than animals. If you think otherwise you're an idiot. To speak about animal rights on behalf of animals is to assume that you're superior to them and somehow know what they're thinking, so the act of talking about animal rights negates your own argument. It pisses me off when I see people giving money to dogs homes or donkey sanctuaries instead of actual important charities for humans. Is a homeless dog really more important than a human cancer sufferer? really?

Fuck no, Baskerville - I used to hold opinions kind of like yours, 'til I acknowledged and considered the full weight of the reality of there being over 6.5 billion of us (and growing, ever growing) on this tiny little planet.
The environment has to take precedence over our selfish needs, otherwise what on Earth will our children inherit?
We're too many and too successful.

who says animal rights take precedence over human rights or that they are independent of each other? I think that is bullshit. I'm not sure if PETA has a policy on abortion but I imagine they are pro-choice as opposed to pro-abortion.
are we going to have a debate on semantics, ethics and morality?

I didn't take the environment, I'm talking about human created animals, like pets, donkeys etc that should never have been made in the first place. How many pointless domesticated dogs and cats have we got? I'm all for campaigning against climate change, incidently something that ben and jerry's is pretty good at.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON ABOUT BASKERVILLE?!?!
ANIMALS WILL STILL BE ON THIS PLANET WHEN WE ARE LONG GONE AND WERE AROUND MILLIONS OF YEARS BEFORE US TOO.
IF ANYTHING, US HUMANS ARE THE INCONVENIENCE TO THE ANIMALS - FUCKING UP AND POLLUTING THE WORLD THEY THRIVE IN.
