  the video is now up at his blog. pretty superior quality, but realize dude was shooting with an array of gear that costs 500x the camera, along with a professional film crew. the most impressive thing to me is the lack of grain at 1600 and 3200 iso.

  i don't know, i think video on SLRs is a pretty stupid thing overall. let's keep people great at certain things instead of meddling in mediocrity with a different field because it can sell better. doesn't make much sense but i'm sure the people that get rich off it don't care.

    it's not better than 100k cameras, though. you still need a shit ton of equipment, and the camera can't attach to a mic or a steadycam rig.– colin_s3/8

    steadycam. it's mainly that i think experts in video should be videographers, photographers do their thing. etc.– colin_s4/8
