Well, first of all... from a drawing perspective... where is the light coming from that is causing these reflections?
Many times I see people using reflections all over their site, but they're going in different directions as if light is coming from all over the place and affecting them individually...

It would just be nice if he could understand the reason behind my dislike for these sort of effects. No matter how much I bang on about it being cheap, tacky, over-used, unsuited to 90% of our clients etc etc, the next project we get in he'll say "oh, I've seem this* which I think will look great"
(*this being something like this:

change jobs and start off solo...
if not... do what your MD asks of you...
you're either the boss or the one who does what the boss asks of you.
good luck.

Hi, I need some good reasons why NOT to use these. My MD is obsessed and wants everything we do to be "reflected", or "glossy". Buttons, text, form-fields, logos, the staff etc.
I need a strong argument against this tripe, anyone have any suggestions?
