make all your effects using the 'Effect' drop down as opposed to 'Filter'. Now go 'View - Graphic Styles'. When you have the styles you want, select the object you want to base your styles on and go go to the graphic styles palette, click on the wee right arrow and select 'New Graphic Style'. Name it whatever you like and select a new object and click on the graphic style you've just created, and it will apply those styles to the new object.
