When are you moving?
I live in "Graduate Hospital" it's really Gray's Ferry, but it's pretty nice and not too expensive and pretty close to Rittenhouse.Manayunk is a little too frat/sorority for me. But is nice to visit on the weekends.
Fishtown is good too as long as you aren't really in Port Richmond or Kensington, and have good access to the El.

You would probably like Graduate Hospital. You can get a nice 1BR for around $800.
Fishtown is fine. It's easier to deal with a few meth-heads than it is some of the scenes in the Wire that you find in West Phila or South West / true Gray's Ferry.
Also check out South Philadelphia, but stick close to Passyunk or else things may get dodgy and never go south or east of Moyamessing.
If you could wait til November I would let you take my place. I'm moving closer to the burbs.

- I know people with relatively low paying jobs who live in ritt and art museum areasmagnificent_ruin
- but I've never seen their apartmentsmagnificent_ruin
- Yeah. If they have a low paying job, I'm imagining their SF is like 600 or less. Or they have roommates / significant others.jasontroj
