Has anyone ever had and experience or luck getting a domain name that's already registered. I'm looking to buy one but it looks like some ass muffin owns it and is just sitting on it. It's registered by pool.com and redirects to http://www.siteboxparking.com. Any tips or good "brokerage" services out there?

Network Solutions has an anonymous 'registered offer' service. Buyer doesn't know who you are. I recently sold a domain from an offer that came to me through them.

The other thing you should do is register on SnapNames, and make the minimum $60 offer on any domains that you would want to grab if they ever came free.. I've got a few that way... they are very good at acquiring expiring domains before other services do

(of course I shouldn't be telling you all this should I?)

you could also trying sending the user an email and asking if they are interested in selling it. if its for you personally then let him/her KNOW that so that they know you wont have thousands to spend on the url and they prob wont rip you.
