I just picked up a copy, its a magazine that grabs best (or decent) content / photo from other magazines and publishes it. interesting idea but isnt that what blogs do? also, they get content from blogs also.

Yeah Dinky saw this as well. Pretty genius if you ask me. Let everyone else do the work and then put it all together. It is basically a blog magazine but the way it is marketed is genius. Plus people seem to like anything that saves time and this saves some people from flipping through 25 magazines.

very true but most people will miss the point. maybe its the cover, it seems like a there is no direction in how to capture what the magazine is about.

Readers Digest is actually a good analogy. I think the marketing might need some shifts or push, but honestly I think crap like this will work.

Imagine a design magazine that drew the best articles every month from other design publications and then sold it. We would lap that up.

not sure how long it can last for such a niche market (fashion industry / students).
also aimed toward students also, but they would be more digitally inclined
