  who is doing it? i just back from beach, its windy today. and there are a lot of them! i want to learn it. where should i start? how expensive and dangerous is that?

  kite surfing is better...

  depending on the type of kite and what you want as startup can be anywhere from 800$ and up...

  definetley look into taking lessons first.. as they start you off with amateur kites which are relatively small and they teach you how to manage the wind..

  sorry about the poics of printouts. Spent a year in Maui in '97 after windsurfing for the previous 10+ years. good times.Kiting is ok if you can stand 100' lines getting caught up in stuff.
