shite site btw!

Seen worse, but then again I have seen better. Could do with more "design" around it.

Nav could be a little more distinct - bigger, even - and I get slightly annoyed when sites judder left and right because some pages have a scroll bar and some don't. Also, again a personal thing, I like nav to be consistent - if I can click in to 'home' and 'about', I'd also like to be able to do the same on 'media'.
Given the brand name - part of me kind of expects half of the page to be dark and mottled - I mean, that's the point about that species of moth, isn't it?

was the budget 20p

i'm not feeling the skyline at the bottom. not well executed.
i like the smoke stack but i dislike how it expands on pages with more content than the index
otherwise, nice and simple

scrap_paper - The work in your portfolio is far better than the site you posted, was it the client that wanted it to look like that?

Aye, I agree with 7.34's skyline point - I guess that's kind of where I was coming from with my 'half dark' comment - I'd like to see the whole bottom of the page descending into some (slightly sanitised, for obvious reasons) murky industrial zone - with the core brand message and content, riding high in clean white environmental purity.
Also - that moth was brown, wasn't it? Not grey?
Best of luck - I'm just gassing here - if you've done this on the cheap, then whatever you do is good!

Thanks for the comments all.
This was a culmination of client request and bugetary constraint. I would have liked to take certain things further in the design portion of the process for sure. Further industrialization etc.

ditch the blogspot and integrate wordpress! it really cuts navigation.

Bump for my question to reedreeder ^
