any place i Have to check out? or do?
i'm not a big fan of CN tower, Niagara and mother nature. more like a lay back drunker and impulsive buyer...

or hang out at Betty's on King St. this is in the heart of the design and advertising/media district....on any given day, about 75% of the patrons are either from ad agencies, design firms, media, actors etc....(once watched The bartender Julian tell the actor Ed Harris (yeah, that one) to stop smoking his joint inside....that he had to had to go out to the alley like everyone else lol

If you're looking to spend some money on great dinner without going all-out there's a bunch of good places;
http://www.messis.ca/main.html (ignore their evil website, the food rocks.). About 150 for two people.
Lahore Tikka House in Little India for the best Pakistani food this side of Lahore, http://www.lahoretikkahouse.com/… (evil website amazing food). Maybe 40 bucks for two.
http://www.restaurantica.com/on/… Gio Rana's. Former owner/chef of the Nose. Very good. About 180 for two.Those are some of my faves. A little off the beaten track.

Parkdale is where it's at, crack, smack and Mother India Roti's!
Wrongbar, Cadillac Lounge (To see the Rockabilly dudes), The Drake Patio (Kinda shit thanks to suburban cunts, but alright, 29-AUG-08 WINDSOR FOR THE DERBY DRAKE HOTEL 19+ $8.50, also), and Sweaty Betty's for the bar scene. The rest is shit.
Kensington Market is a good time on a Saturday walk, lot's of freaks in there, but a complete mix none the less. Then there's the norm of The ROM, AGO, DESIGN XCHGE, OCAD and galleries around Queen and Ossington.
