Help me out here kids …
When I'm trying to select a PMS colour from the "new colour swatch" palette, the window is frustratingly tiny.

Is there a way to get the larger illustrator-esque swatch library window in ID CS3 that I'm just not seeing?

in CS2 it's F5 (window > swatches) and go to options in the swatches window (tiny arrow top left) select "large swatches"

in cs3, click on your swatches, then click the little arrow that's in the upper right of that palette. choose name/small name/small swatch/large swatch until you are content.

nah. i'm looking for when you select "new colour swatch" from the flyout menu and try to pick a PMS colour. It's not the palette I have the issue with, it's more the pop up window and its fixed size.

Sorry, should have been more clear.

turn on your zoom in/out in universal access if you're on a mac.

thanks doesnotexist. your moniker is fitting in this instance.

I hope they change this in the next iteration of the software.

Is it that much to ask for a dedicated window for PMS colour swatches in ID CS3?

    • yeah it should match whatever you choose in the swatch palette. odd.doesnotexist

For print wouldn't one just select the colour from a pantone book?

    • you've never used indesign, have you?doesnotexist1/6
