Where are some good places to shop for clothing? I'm revamping my wardrobe. I'm replacing Dickies, Ben Davis, and Carhardt. I have broad shoulders and legs so none of those faggy hipster skinny jeans. I'm 32.

    +1

I need to complement band shirts and the like, so some of those faggy hipster skinny jeans will work.

I'm looking for both. I'd like for a female to take me shopping but you're in NY and I'm in Chicago. I'll need to dress sharp soon for work but may be able to pull off hip at work-it depends where I work.

what kind of style do you want? My personal faves
Nordstrom - although some are crappy
    Bloomingdales
    Nieman Marcus
    Barneys
Diesel - although careful you don't fall into too much hipster, which I hate.
    Thomas Pink (SF)

Then I have a variety of import stores in Seattle for Japanese and European stuff. Since I'm really slim this works well.

Give a better idea of what you're looking for and I can recommend better and potentially give good brands.

the best clothing I can find in chicago is in a gayish part of town (andersonville) in boutiques. the clothing costs a lot but that's been my only barrier. I could go armani but there's no way I'm paying 200 for a t shirt.

    • so the gayish part isn't a barrier for yaiCanHasQBN1/6

Red or white? bah! I wear black w/ black laces... these are normal black (with white tips, not the all back, don't like those). I also have shiney gold and burgendy w/ some camaflogue stuff I got in Korea.

I've found nice clothes are expensive, but because I'm thin it's hard for me to find thin clothes, most places in the US deal with the normal US body :) Since you have broad shoulders you should be able to find things easier. Gay areas usually have nice things. A lot of gay guys dress well... but then a lot also dress like shit or hipsters....

    • I have black and blue but they're worn out/Llyod
