loading images into a DIV

On mouseclick, need to dynamically load url/content/jpg's into a DIV.
Any advice?Have done before using flash, though this is strictly a html/css affair.
Found this, though not sure if suitable...

I did this on my site.
But I loaded up all the Jpegs first and then called each one.I am sure there are better ways.

What exactly is all the content text and images? I think you'll be fine with the jquery you posted. It probably uses Ajax to read in external content.. the only problem with that is that the content will no be pre-loaded

use AJAX. With Jquery it is really really easy. just one line of code, really.

thanks guys - yeh no problem if not pre-loaded, infact this is better as will be dealing with 40+ images.
