if you sign in with appear offline activated, will others see that little pop-up on the lower right? or do they not see anything at all? this is for msn on mac.

i dunno. But if you get Adium, you can belong to multiple IM networks (myspace, AOL, Googletalk, msn, etc). It has an "Invisible" status, which, i'm assuming, allows you to see who else is online, while you appear to be not even logged on

As far as I Know... there's a few utilities or programs or something that allows you to see who's offline or ignoring you or whatever...
never tried it, and don't know whether this legend is true or not...
