"This is CNN and these are the headlines: The crisis in Burma was compounded this week when planes from all over the world carpet-bombed the country with dead flowers. Aid workers on the ground report that the stench of rotting vegetation is almost unbearable and the mulch is getting caught in the axles and running gears of relief vehicles trying to gain access to the countries un-routed interior. As if that wasn't enough, the emissions from all of the heavy planes flying low altitude at slow speeds has sent polution meters rocketing sky high, leaving literally millions of people suffering from respitory crisis and chronic emphysema - exaccerbated by the rogue pollens emitted from the flower head during their descent. UN officials claim the stunt was well meaning, but ultimately mis-guided. Now, over to the Sports Desk for the latest with Jungle Face Jake"
