Hi all,
I need a new mouse for my mac, just wondering what's the best one out there, is mighty mouse any good, or is there anything better?
I suppose bluetooth would be nice too.
Thanks

Personally I like the look, feel and functionality of the mighty mouse, unfortunately the scroll ball stops working within a month or two. Ive been through 4 now, finally switched to logitech.
- i've had that... just needs cleaning i've foundPromotionalUseOnly
- any particular one?leewilson78
- Cleaning them is a pain as they are bonded together and they only stay working for a month :(MSL
- that's a really easy fix. you just need to get some moisture in there to clean it. lick your finger and work that ball ;-) he he, no seriously it works!tbgd
- Applecare happily collect my old one and replace with a new one but it just happens again and againset
- seriously it workstbgd
- Sometimes you can clean them out but eventually they just seem to die, a shame really as its a nice mouse, good shape for my handset
- *licks finger and works ballset
- I've had mine for over a year, every now and again it stops, turn it upside down on a clean piece of paper and roll awayJimbo82
- problem solved every time.Jimbo82
- The first few times a clean seems to work but they always get to an unfixable stage.set
- Unfixable in as much as I can't fix it anyway hahaset
- I've never had this problem. I think people just need to clean their mice more oftenmodern

I always end up going back to an MS mouse.

since posting, read so many bad things about the might mouse, which people have confirmed here, guess its not a MM for me.
- I second (or third by now) Hench.
They are nice but not sturdy.Peter

As the "Golden Age of Mice" is ushered in by the ever increasing intelligence of lab rodents, a special empathy is felt between our biological "test pals" and our electronic interfacers. Many of these relationships have blossomed into full blown romances and the emerging legal issues surrounding interspecial marriages have many politicians taking opposing sides. We say: let them do as they will.

If you don't use a scroll wheel a normal Apple Bluetooth Mouse is an excellent choice (being oldschool I don't use a wheel or need additional buttons - 1 is plenty enough).

logitec pretty good. I have a old dell mouse which I still find good to use as well.

I use a radtech bt600 which is awesome if you require bluetooth...

I use a mighty mouse and have had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever - going a year strong and it still works like a charm. The absolutely best thing has to be mapping the expose´ to the "squeeze" - increases workflow by like 10000000000%

I don't like how loud the "click" is on the Mighty Mouse. Try a high-end laser Kensington, or something with some weight to it.

In my scale, "mighty" beats "high end"
haha
