"Creative people tend to be smart yet naive at the same time." I like to think this describes me. I still have naive moments, even now.

I came across another one relating depression to creativity, if anyone knows of the one I mean, please post the link.

It goes on about extreme highs and lows in the creative brain, a very long but awesome article.

"Creative people alternate between imagination and fantasy, and a rooted sense of reality"

Yeah, I would say my sense of reality is pretty rooted.

Well, you think of all the brilliant creative folks throughout history, particularly in the last 100-150 years, and so many were mentally unique (if not wholly mad).

    • +1 Most generally collapsed under the weight of their own genius.meffid

^ also, all writings of psychology are general because there's no right or wrong answers and everyone is completely different in this respect. So yes, of course it's general and manipulated so everyone can relate to it. It's still a good read.
