A for sure. If things don't work out, you could still get another surgery depending on what the initial problem was and the damage done to you. If things don't work out, you just die in your sleep and you'd feel no pain. Your family could sue the surgeon's ass and get a very nice sum of money that would guarantee a good economical future for your wife, parents, siblings, etc…

what kind of surgery are we talking about? I'd tottaly do the LSD one if it were on my leg cause then I could play soothing music and feed the doctor ice cream.
I take my heart surgery straight up.
