  flickr is quite a resource for stuff like that. play around with a search for pulp cover/sci-fi/etc. you´ll get tons of material.

  ^ I am not sure, but I do wonder about that. I went to this sci-fi convention (wow that sounds nerdy) and it seemed everyone had reproductions of these old movie posters. Seems like they may be public domain.

  Looks like you'd have to lookup if the copyright was renewed for each piece individually.
