Hello boys and girl of QBN.
I have recently installed trapcode particular demo pack on CS3, and I can't get it to work.

After checking the trapcode forums. I realized I was not the only one with the same problem, a lot of google, has led to the information that trapcode particular, might not show up on the EFFECTS drop down menu, but it may just show up on the EFFECTS & PRESETS tab on the right.

    And it did!
I was a happy guy, till I clicked on it and it gave me this message:

"This favorite contains 1 reference to a missing effect. Please install the following effect to restore this reference. ("Particular") "

I re-installed of course, and the same message shows up.

Anyone knows what else I could do?

    I'm on a MBP with AE CS3 (8.0.0.247)
    and OSX 10.4.11

    thanks in advance!

We've got it here at work (full version) and we've never had a problem with it. Could just be the Demo itself.

Not much help, but I suppose you could email them directly.

    • they sayd it may be after effects of courseMeeklo

all my AE plugins on my home computer do this for some reason...though it is a bootleg version so that could be why.

I've had this happen before as well. If forget the exact process to fix it, but a quick call to their support staff did the trick. I believe I was dealing with a OSX10.5 issue though.
