  Heya,
  I'm having problems installing a font.
  I'm trying to install Sansa family, but when I open Illustrator, I only get Sansa-black listed...
  Am I doing something wrong?
  I have just dragged the fonts to fontbook, seems everything is ok in the fonts folder, TTF file it is. (OSX)

  This may or may not be your issue.....but I notice on Mac that fonts are really finicky, sometimes just moving them from one location to another they get corrupt. Possibly try reinstalling the font again from the original source (if that's not what's corrupt).

  the problem is that I'm making the transition from a PC, I aquired this font few years ago for that platform. (this was in 2005, I'm not sure) I can't afford to buy a new package... btw, I'm using Illustrator 11, I'll check if in PS or Indesign it works. Thanks

  pc/ ttf should be fine on OSX.

  did you quit and relaunch illustrator?

  font could be damaged. you should use a real manager instead of OSX Fontbook.

    actually i use the new suitcase fusion and its awesome, recently switched from linoxplorer, very happy.– horton2/3

  this exact thing happened to me on a PC when i installed the truetype fonts into fontexplorer. i deleted those and installed the postscript versions and everything showed up fine.
