  Christ, don't go down that route. It didn't work 4 years ago when FI was trying to make it their product and it will be even less successful today.
  People don't want to be WOWED by some multimedia bullshit, they just want things fast, easy to use and well designed. This is even more evident with sites you visit often like a portal.

  Look at that horrendous Road Runner site on FI, could you imagine using that tedious shit on a daily basis? Also notice the FI full flash MTV site got ditched in favour for HTML/JS.
