  NOOOO! they're making a movie? Gawd damn, that will more than likely be total shiite.
  Though No Country For Old Men was a great adaptation of McCarthy's book, the difference was the screenplay and direction were done by the genius of the Cohen bros.
  Hillman Curtis!? I can't see him doing this book proper justice.

  I dont like them introducing the mother (played by Charlize Theron) into the movie. That was the power of the book and it's fundamental characters' motivation, the intensely deep connected relationship between the father and the boy. They relied on each other to live, they were all each other had. McCarthy deliberately kept the mother out of it (talked about very briefly, but a very minor roll, mother never had any dialogue). that would have changed the dynamic of the father/son relationship.
