Over 17,200 Scientists dispute Global Warming:
http://www.oism.org/pproject/s33…
A review of the research literature concerning the environmental consequences of increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide leads to the conclusion that increases during the 20th and early 21st centuries have produced no deleterious effects upon Earth's weather and climate. Increased carbon dioxide has, however, markedly increased plant growth. Predictions of harmful climatic effects due to future increases in hydrocarbon use and minor greenhouse gases like CO2 do not conform to current experimental knowledge.

go into the lists of names. Select a few and do a google search on them.
I picked a few at random from the E section.
"Lawrence Thornton Eby, PhD" only two link both to petition sites
"Joseph A. Ellerbrock" only one link which is that petition site
"John G. Esock 3rd" only one link which is that petition site
there is a "Harmon Edwin Eveland, PhD" and a "H. E. Eveland, PhD" I'm assuming they are the same person but only have 4 google links and no apparent publications
"Charles P. Etling" again no publications and the top link of 4 is the petition site.
basically this list is complete bullshit from top to bottom.

I would then, be interested to hear your explaination of why global temperature trends mirror those of the sun over the last million years and do no correlate with the increased use of hydrocarbons.
Or why temperature rises PREdate an increase in atmospheric C02 by about 800 years every time a warming cycle takes place ?
Seriously...

Designbot - what is your definition of logic? clutching at bogus internet straws? incapacity to even check is something is valid before trying to pass it off to others?
i could waste another 20 minutes searching through the list and I'm sure it will be the same.
I'm only half way through my PhD and if you search my name in google you get plenty of publications and presentations.... ;)

There are always going to be arguments for and agianst the point that our actions have harmfully altered our planets climate.
Before jumping on one bandwagon or the other it is important to take a look at who you are reading and who is sponsoring their research.
There are plenty of "scientists" that refute the CO2/climate change connection whose funding is traced back to oil companies. Dependable? I'm not sure.

It pisses me off that there is so much one-sided propaganda on this issue. At the very least I want people to see the other side. The one who is predominantly responsible for "shedding light on the issue" of Global Warming has cried wolf before on the "Hole in the ozone". Even after NASA relinquished it's scientific claim that Gore based his argument on.
