I turned my computer on and went into illustrator (cs3) and realized that shift key wasn't working. Im not sure its something in my preferences or a glitch. When I expand something and hold down the shift key it doesn't hold the proportions...it warps all over the place. I restarted but it didn't fix the problem. Anybody have this problem? Im stuck

i previously posted a bunch of possible trouble shoots for this and related issues... may take a while to find the thread.
but one of the suggested problems i do remember is (believe or not) MS Office... its a known issue that if your MS installs are not up to date it can cause these keyboard issues in CS3.

there are 3 or 4 documented issues that you can troubleshoot... most common was update your MS Office, you may have to run the Office autoupdater several times, but eventually did the trick for me.
i'll try to find the notes i posted but i doubt it will be found.
